SAP BRIM Functional Consultant

Location: Middletown, PA
Position Type: Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite one week per month for meetings
Contract Length: Long-term with annual extensions

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for supporting SAP BRIM and FICA solution delivery efforts within a large-scale enterprise S/4HANA implementation, with a focus on functional configuration, testing, integrations, and post-go-live support. The position works closely with technical, testing, data, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of billing, payments, collections, and financial integration processes while maintaining compliance, documentation, and operational readiness.

Duties:

• Support SAP BRIM solution delivery activities across enterprise implementation initiatives.
• Configure and deliver SAP BRIM and FICA functional capabilities, including payments, dunning, collections, account determination, and CI/GL integrations.
• Lead functional testing activities, including test script reviews, defect resolution, and validation of BRIM/FICA business processes.
• Assist with BRIM configuration tasks such as business partner setup, contract account configuration, correspondence updates, and event framework maintenance.
• Provide subject matter expertise for BRIM/FICA testing scenarios and test data preparation.
• Support data conversion and migration activities, including mapping, translation rules, cross-reference maintenance, and open item conversion.
• Participate in cutover planning, readiness assessments, and migration support efforts.
• Maintain Azure DevOps work items, documentation, status tracking, and deliverable management.
• Provide post-go-live production support for FICA operations, including payment interfaces, dunning cycles, settlement jobs, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, BRF+ rules, correspondence forms, and third-party payment integrations.
• Support audit and compliance activities by ensuring financial controls and reporting requirements are met within FICA configurations.
• Create and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation, including designs, diagrams, test plans, scripts, impact analyses, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, stakeholders, vendors, sponsors, and business partners.
• Lead and participate in enterprise system project activities and cross-functional work efforts.
• Work independently to complete assigned responsibilities and deliverables.
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365, Azure DevOps, and related technology tools to perform daily responsibilities.
• Adhere to organizational standards, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Support additional project and operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a SAP BRIM Functional Analyst with CI and/or FICA expertise.
• Experience completing at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong understanding of FICA processes, including payments, dunning, collections, interest, open item management, and CI/GL integrations.
• Experience working with BRF+, event framework configurations, and FICA-related enhancements.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a SAP BRIM Functional Analyst with CI and/or FICA expertise.
• 3+ years of SAP BRIM experience.
• SAP S/4HANA BRIM certifications such as BR230 and/or BR234.
