Stimulus Coffee + Bakery is an artisanal café and bakery located in Pacific City, Oregon. We reside inside the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and are just across the street from Cape Kiwanda State park with fantastic ocean views just outside our front doors. We efficiently provide refreshing, artisanal products with authentic service, in a casual and inspiring atmosphere. We offer stay in and delivery to the hotel rooms for maximum guest satisfaction. Locals and visitors alike stop in before their first surf session of the day and in between laps at the nearby swimming pool and we are here waiting with coffee and beach bun in hand.

A day in the life...

The Pastry Cook is accountable for working as a team with other Pastry Cooks to produce baked goods and other ready-to-go food items on schedule, in order to deliver on guest and FOC department expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

·Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and other specialty beverages per Stimulus Brand standards and within health guidelines.

· Prepares, warm and serve food items such hot sandwiches, fruit bowls, and pastries.

· Count, organize and balance cash drawer, keeping excellent records and ensuring accuracy.

· Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations, or retail items. Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments. Stock back of house items.

Requirements

You own this if you have…

• Obtain a Food Handlers Card Oregon state approved.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work cohesively as part of a team. Skills to work independently, effectively manage own time.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Skills to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written instructions, ingredients and recipes.
