Senior Data / Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically versatile Data Analyst / Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Manufacturing Division of a global pharmaceutical company in Prague. The role centers on the migration of manufacturing quality reporting from Qlik Sense to Power BI, ensuring validated, scalable, and performance-optimized reporting infrastructure.

You’ll play a vital role in modernizing and streamlining quality data reporting, collaborating closely with IT, quality, and manufacturing stakeholders to deliver GxP-compliant dashboards and datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of Qlik Sense reports and data models to Power BI, translating legacy scripts, calculations, and logic into robust Power BI architecture.
  




• Reverse-engineer existing Qlik Sense applications and develop optimized Power BI reports using DAX, Power Query (M), and visual best practices.
  




• Ensure data accuracy and validation across migrated reports, in alignment with manufacturing quality metrics and compliance standards.
  




• Collaborate with data engineers and system owners to manage data ingestion pipelines, utilizing SQL and REST APIs where needed.
  




• Support GxP validation documentation, testing (incl. SDLC, UAT), and ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  




• Produce clear metadata, lineage documentation, and contribute to building a sustainable data catalog for quality reporting assets.
  




• Engage in Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and documentation in tools like ALM or Jira.
  

Requirements

• Experience with Qlik Sense, including data modeling, scripting, and dashboard development is a plus.
  


• Hands-on proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report deployment.
  


• Strong SQL and REST API experience for data extraction and transformation across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Athena).
  


• Experience in data integration, ingestion, and ETL pipelines.
  


• Exposure to GxP environments, including SDLC documentation, integration testing, and validation processes.
  


• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in maintaining data quality and compliance.
  


• Ability to work independently in a complex and highly regulated enterprise setting.
