Hours: On-call, 4–10 hour shifts (when it snows)

About the Role:
River Valley Lawnscape is seeking an experienced Snow Removal Operator to join our team for the winter season in Red Wing, MN. This position involves operating a plow truck to clear snow from parking lots, driveways, and roadways in a safe and efficient manner. Work hours will vary depending on snowfall, with typical shifts lasting 4–10 hours during and after snow events. Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate snowplow trucks and related equipment


• Clear snow from assigned properties and ensure safe access for vehicles and pedestrians


• Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed


• Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections


• Communicate with supervisors or dispatch regarding route completion and conditions

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a snowplow for snow removal (required)


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as weather requires


• Reliable, safety-minded, and punctual

Compensation:

• $30/hour


• Paid for actual hours worked (4–10 hour shifts depending on snow events
