Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide comprehensive speech and related services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) across participating school districts in Texas. The ideal candidate will conduct evaluations, deliver therapeutic services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in educational settings in alignment with Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Districts' requirements

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active Texas licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (in accordance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Experience working in educational settings with students from PreK-12
• Knowledge of Texas Education Code, IDEA, and TEA guidelines for IEP development and delivery
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing and documentation (as applicable in some districts)
Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive evaluations in speech, language, hearing, fluency, and communication in accordance with IDEA and the districts' policies.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs using diverse service delivery models.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjust interventions based on data, and maintain compliance with TEA requirements.
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and provide input on eligibility, goal development, and placement.
• Utilize and train staff/families on assistive and augmentative communication tools where appropriate.
• Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to support holistic student development.
• Maintain accurate documentation for student records, evaluations, Medicaid billing (if applicable), and service logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current on professional development, including the district's trainings, and contribute to team learning and innovation.
• Fulfill all duties and documentation required under Texas law, ESC contract provisions, and district guidelines.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by district supervisors or contracting agency.
