Job Description - Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Adelphi is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site speech therapy services for students in Tuba City, Arizona. The ideal candidate will support students with speech and language disorders, participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and ensure full compliance with district and state regulations.

Requirements:

• Current Arizona Department of Health Services license as an SLP

• Valid Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist certificate

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations for speech and language impairments using standardized assessment tools

• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and attend multidisciplinary team meetings

• Develop, implement, and monitor speech and language goals within students’ IEPs

• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students

• Provide guidance and supervision to assigned Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student success

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and case files in compliance with district and Medicaid guidelines

• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to FERPA, HIPAA, and the school policies

• Participate in professional development as needed

• Any other duties as assigned.
