Adelphi is seeking a highly experienced and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor to oversee and support the delivery of school-based speech-language services across multiple educational sites in Texas. Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or mentorship role.
• Experience in school-based service delivery, IEP development, and compliance monitoring.
• Familiarity with Texas Education Code and IDEA regulations.
• Experience supervising and supporting SLPAs and CF-SLPs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision to SLPs and SLPAs delivering services to students across assigned campuses.
• Monitor therapy delivery for compliance with IEP mandates and ensure services meet federal, state, and district standards.
• Conduct regular observations and performance reviews for supervisees, offering guidance and support for best practices.
• Ensure timely completion of evaluations, documentation, and Medicaid billing (if applicable).
• Provide professional development and ongoing training to speech staff on assessment tools, service models, and compliance updates.
• Assist with caseload assignment, workload balancing, and troubleshooting service delivery barriers.
• Serve as a liaison between speech staff and school administrators to support communication and coordination.
• Maintain updated knowledge of state licensure rules and school-based therapy trends.
• Support the onboarding and mentorship of newly hired SLPs and SLPAs.
• Provide direct therapy or evaluation services as needed.
• Perform other leadership duties as assigned.
