Stock Assistant (Temp)

At PURPLE we're not just crafting clothing, we're shaping experiences. We are currently seeking a Stock Assistant (Temp Employee) to join the store. This role plays a crucial role in maximizing sales potential by ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. The Stock Assistant is responsible for upholding stockroom standard operating procedures (SOPs) and meeting brand standards in shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns, and merchandising.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, process stock intake, and organize inventory, including replenishing stock on the sales floor.


• Assist Stock Manager in monthly inventory counts, cycle counts, and spot checks.


• Monitor and resolve discrepancies.


• Ensure orderly organization of boxes and products.


• Process of all incoming and outgoing deliveries.


• Generate and verify purchase orders (PO’s).


• Complete tasks assigned for timely processing of shipments.
  


• Proactively work to prevent loss prevention and sales issues.


• General store maintenance, contributing to a safe and clean store environment, including leaving stockroom in an orderly manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience in retail operations, preferably in a luxury environment.


• Proficient in MS office Suite, particularity Excel.


• Exceptional communication skills.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.


• Able to work a flexible schedule that will include weekends, holidays, and special events.
  


• Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
