Job Description - Summer Nanny for 10 and 7-year-old boys

Family Location:  Minneapolis, MN

Summary:

A bit about us:
We are a family of four, Mom, Dad, and two energetic boys ages 10 and 7, who were born and raised in Minnesota. We love spending time together and are an active, outdoorsy family. You’ll often find us biking as a family, fishing, or enjoying time at the nearby park. Our neighborhood is full of friends, and we regularly host and attend playdates, staying very involved in both our kids’ lives and our community. We enjoy getting to know our children’s friends and their parents and value being connected and engaged. With busy days and full schedules, dinner prep can sometimes feel a bit chaotic, so support in the afternoons, especially with meal preparation, would be a huge help to our family.

A bit about you:
We’re looking for an energetic, creative summer nanny who enjoys keeping up with very active kids and thrives on planning fun, engaging days. Our boys have a lot of energy and do best with plenty of movement built into each day, whether that’s outdoor play, sports, or active games. They also enjoy quieter moments like playing board games, tinkering, and building things, so someone who can balance high-energy activities with focused, hands-on projects would be a great fit. A big part of the role will be helping us create and check off a “summer bucket list,” filled with adventures, creativity, and fun. Bonus points if you’re interested in soccer or ultimate frisbee, both kids love them, and if you don’t mind a house filled with drum practice throughout the summer!

Job Duties:
The day-to-day will be a bit different depending on the week and who has what camp and when. Mainly, it will involve picking up one or both children from camp and bringing them back home. When the boys aren’t at camps, we would love for you and them to get outside and create fun and meaningful experiences throughout the summer. While also allowing for a bit of independence and downtime to do their own thing. Driving will be required, and the nanny will need to use their own car.

Position Highlights: Guaranteed hours and having the best summer ever!
Qualifications: Engaging, sporty, planful, and creative
Set yourself apart: Play ultimate frisbee, soccer, or the drums!
Schedule:  Starting June 15th or 22nd, Monday-Friday from 2-6 pm, going until September 3rd ideally
How to Apply: Apply Here; email [email protected] or text "nanny" to 952-260-8906 to start the process!
Pay: Starting at $22/hour
