Pay Range: $22.76-$25/hour

Program Session Information:

• Employment- Seasonal
• Session Runs- Monday, July 7th to Friday, August 15th
• Program Hours- Monday-Friday, 9AM-1PM

The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for a six-week summer teaching position for the No More Learning Gap program being held at the Glens Falls Branch of the Saratoga Regional Y. No More Learning Gap is a specific reading remediation summer skills program designed to ensure that the students who have been identified and registered within the program, have direct reading instruction to maintain their current reading levels throughout the summer through active integrated instruction. 15-25 students from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade will be working in approximately 45-minute session, small groups, as a pull-out program within Camp Foothills at the Glens Falls Y with this designated Reading Teacher. Interested applicants must plan to be available for the duration of this program.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old. 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. 
• 3+ years of teaching/childcare experience. 
• Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications preferred
