Technical Program Manager- 1503

Must Have:

• 5+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum project management experience, serving as Scrum Lead
  
• Proven experience managing multiple Scrum teams simultaneously
  
• End-to-end program/project management experience from initiation through completion
  
• Strong technical background with ability to engage directly with engineers and QA analysts
  
• Experience with JIRA (required), Confluence, and Airtable (preferred)
  
• Strong skills in risk identification, mitigation, and cross-functional communication
  
• Bachelor’s degree (required for long-term conversion consideration)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies across multiple Scrum teams supporting mobile and web applications
  
• Drive execution and delivery of technical projects/programs within software engineering, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are met
  
• Partner with engineers, QA analysts, designers, and product managers to ensure alignment and execution against priorities
  
• Manage escalations, dependencies, and cross-squad coordination for fantasy sports, tournament challenge, backend systems, and prediction games
  
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and communication of status updates to leadership and stakeholders
  
• Identify and manage risks, proactively proposing mitigation plans
  
• Foster strong team culture, encouraging collaboration, motivation, and respect across diverse team members (from interns to senior engineers)
  
• Coordinate seasonal and event-driven releases (e.g., Fantasy Football, March Tournament Challenge, new mini-games) against critical deadlines
  
• Support initiatives with very large user bases (millions of external users), ensuring scalability and quality
  
• Track program-level metrics, budgets (basic exposure preferred), and continuously improve delivery processes

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of technical program/project management experience working directly with software engineering teams
  
• 5+ years of Agile/Scrum leadership experience delivering software applications
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple squads in a fast-paced environment
  
• Bachelor’s degree required (field not restricted)
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to clearly articulate project status and technical issues
  
• Experience in sports media, gaming, fantasy sports, mobile app development, or large-scale event-driven launches strongly preferred
  
• Knowledge of streaming media, video integrations, or digital platforms is a plus
  
• CSM/CSP or equivalent Agile certification preferred
