Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The Opportunity:
Playing a critical role as a Biomarker Operations and Sample Management Specialist within Translational Medicine function, the position will be providing biomarker operational expertise in, developing scope of work, and maintaining effective working relationships with cross-functional teams for phase three clinical trials.
Provide expertise in sample tracking processes for clinical trials.
A knowledge of RAVE Electronic Data Capture System and Interactive Response Technology (IRT) Systems is highly desirable.
Must have experience managing team members.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
Must have experience in biospecimen query resolution.
Work independently on completing all sample related tasks to ensure high sample quality delivery for the testing labs.
Experience in the process of investigating, resolving inconsistencies, missing information etc. of biospecimen samples is highly desired.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
Life sciences degree (BS or MS) in scientific, medical, healthcare, or related discipline.
3+ years related professional experience in a clinical research setting, clinical/diagnostic laboratory.
Experience of working in Phase 3 clinical trials is highly desired.
Excellent scientific and business communication skills, strong interpersonal/collaboration skills, and planning skills.
Familiarity with project management/collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Confluence), and project management knowledge is recommended.
Familiarity with sample inventory or LIMS systems is a plus.
Experience applying data analysis approaches (Python, R, or similar) to streamline clinical sample workflows is a plus.
Ability to think critically and creatively and be able to work independently to determine appropriate resources for resolution of problems.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced innovative environment.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in clinical biospecimen and/or sample query management in phase three clinical trials is highly desirable.
