Temporary Accounting Clerk

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community has an excellent opportunity for a Temporary, Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our Financial Services team!

Schedule:

Part-Time
Temporary (Potential for permanent placement)
April through July
Monday through Friday, from 8:00am-12:00pm or 9:00am-1:00pm

Compensation: $16.00-$17.00/hour, dependent upon experience

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Maintaining AR and AP filing
Stuffing envelopes and mailing invoices and checks
Posting resident payments
Scanning and attaching documents in ERP system
Account reconciliations
Basic month-end AR, AP, accounting tasks
Data entry, Excel, ERP
Overall administrative support

Qualifications:

High School diploma
2 yrs experience, mainly accounts receivable background
Strong attention to detail
Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, ERP)
Basic math skills
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, with a focus on Excel
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, residents, and visitors
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and organize tasks
Experience with not-for-profit accounting and/or health care a plus, but not required
