Temporary GEDSI Project Assistant (Internal Vacancy)

1.       Gender Analysis Support.

• Provide
  technical and logistical support to the team in the implementation of gender
  analyses, including data collection, facilitation etc.
  
• Assist in the
  preparation of interview protocols and data collection tools.
  
• Contribute to
  the literature review(s).
  
• Support
  interviews with relevant stakeholders, including scheduling.
  
• Support
  coding, organisation, and preliminary analysis of qualitative and quantitative
  data collected.
  
• Draft
  report(s).
  

2.       Support Gender Equity, Diversity and Social
Inclusion platform(s).

• Support
  workshop planning – participant lists/ invitations, logistics, content and
  materials etc.
  
• Assist in the
  development of learning and training materials.
  
• Support
  facilitation of workshops and meetings (e.g., participant registration,
  presentation support, and moderation of discussions).
  
• Support
  rapporteuring and reporting.
  

3.       Provide general operational support to the
project team(s) as the need arises.

Requirements

• BSc
  in Gender, Development Studies, Agriculture and Development, or similar
  
• At
  least 1 year professional experience
  
• Experience
  supporting agricultural and community focused projects
  
• Field
  experience, with stakeholder engagement
  
• Research
  experience (literature reviews, contributing to data collection tool
  development etc.)
  
• Administrative experience, supporting workshop planning.
