Description
We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual for a temporary position as a Scanning Clerk. This individual will be responsible for preparing, scanning, and organizing documents into a digital filing system. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare physical documents for scanning (removing staples, organizing pages, etc.)
- Operate scanning equipment to digitize documents.
- Ensure scanned images are clear, complete, and correctly labeled.
- Save and organize digital files into appropriate folders or databases.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate data capture.
- Assist with light clerical duties as needed.
*This is a temporary role to support a document digitization project. Training on scanning procedures and equipment will be provided.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
Prior experience in administrative or clerical work is preferred but not required.
Basic computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office and file management.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
