Temporary Weed Sprayer

Description

Beaver County is seeking a motivated and reliable Temporary Weed Sprayer to assist the County Weed Supervisor with noxious weed treatment and vegetation management throughout the county. This is a part-time, temporary position ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and contributing to land stewardship efforts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate and maintain herbicide spraying equipment (backpack, ATV, and truck-mounted sprayers)
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
•  Interact respectfully with landowners and the public 
•  Follow all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines
  
   

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors
  
   

Position Details:

• Temporary, seasonal position 
• 24–32 hours per week 
• $15.25 per hour 
• Start date: Immediate 
• End date: Seasonal, based on need
