Travel Echo Tech in Waterloo, IA with $3000 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking an Echo Tech for a travel/contract position in Waterloo, IA.  We are accepting both local and traveler candidates. 

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel Echo Technologist 

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $2600 to $3000 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: EKF

Shifts available: Days

Position Requirements:

• Recent/current experience as Echo Tech: 2+ years – Required
  


• Vascular Diagnostics experience: Required 
  


• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) experience - Required  
  


• Must be comfortable working in Clinic setting as they may be required to work between the Clinic & Main Hospital.
  


• Prior Travel experience – Highly preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• Active ARDMS License  - Required
  


• BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
  

Job Description:

• Conduct echocardiograms by performing non-invasive ultrasound tests to create images of the heart, assisting in the diagnosis of various cardiac conditions.
  


• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining what to expect and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  


• Operate and maintain specialized echocardiography equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  


• Capture and interpret echocardiographic images, preparing them for review by a cardiologist.
  


• Document findings accurately and maintain detailed records of procedures performed and observations made during exams.
  


• Assist with stress tests, helping patients perform physical activities while being monitored when necessary.
  


• Follow safety protocols to maintain patient well-being during testing.
  


• Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  


• Comfortable working in Clinic setting and work between the Clinic & Main Hospital.
