Job Description - Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job

Step into a rewarding role as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, bringing compassionate care, steady judgment, and a steady heartbeat to residents who count on you every day. Based in Franklin, New Hampshire, this opportunity lets you shape quality of life for seniors, support families, and partner with a team that values your expertise. In this setting you’ll help residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence while navigating complex health needs with kindness and precision. And beyond the floor, New Hampshire’s landscapes invite you to pause, reflect, and recharge—from the serene Pemigewasset Valley to the crystal-clear lakes and the vibrant fall colors that transform towns into living postcards.

Nestled along the speedwell streams and near friendly communities, Franklin offers convenient access to local amenities, cultural events, and outdoor recreation. The state’s beauty isn’t just scenery; it’s a backdrop that boosts well‑being and resilience for both staff and residents. For teams seeking broader horizons, this role can also place you in various locations across the U.S., delivering diverse experiences, new professional challenges, and opportunities to expand your nursing toolkit while you build a robust travel résumé.

Role specifics and benefits
As a Long-Term Care LPN, you’ll be the dependable bridge between patients, families, and the care team. Core responsibilities include regular patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, timely medication administration, wound care, accurately documenting progress, and updating care plans in collaboration with RNs and interdisciplinary staff. You’ll reinforce safety protocols, assist with activities of daily living, support mobility and rehabilitation goals, and respond promptly to changes in health status. Your clinical judgment will guide care priorities, with a focus on preventing complications and promoting comfort during every shift. This position also opens doors to professional growth—specialized training in geriatric syndromes, dementia care strategies, wound management, and palliative approaches to enhance your skill set and career trajectory.

Benefits include a competitive weekly pay range of $1,143–$1,199, with the option to extend assignments based on performance and preferences. In addition to competitive compensation, you’ll have access to housing assistance and potential bonus opportunities designed to recognize your dedication. We provide extension opportunities so you can deepen your experience in Long-Term Care, while also allowing for meaningful exploration across multiple facilities and states when desired. Comprehensive support is available 24/7 as you travel with the company, ensuring you always have a reliable point of contact and skilled guidance should you encounter a challenging shift or a housing transition. It’s a framework built to reduce friction, so you can focus on providing compassionate care and growing in your role.

A few highlights:
- Direct patient care responsibilities: assessments, vitals, medication administration, documentation, care planning, ADL support, safety netting.
- Professional growth: targeted trainings in geriatrics, dementia care, wound care, infection prevention, and leadership foundations.
- Benefits: competitive weekly pay, potential bonuses, housing assistance, and contract extension opportunities; options tailored to your preferences.
- Support: 24/7 national travel support, onboarding guidance, and a dedicated liaison to smooth relocations or site transitions.
- Work environment: collaborative teams, respectful culture, and a shared commitment to empowering every staff member.
