Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Eureka, California.

This role supports a busy imaging department performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including PET and cardiac imaging in an acute care hospital setting.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Techs who are confident working independently, performing both routine and advanced imaging studies, and maintaining accuracy in high-demand clinical environments.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day shift 5x8s
• 1 position available

COMPENSATION
Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET and cardiac studies
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure image quality
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams for diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in imaging systems

• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience REQUIRED
• Experience with PET and cardiac imaging preferred
• BLS certification REQUIRED
