Job Description - Travel Occupational Therapist Job


Overview
Occupational Therapist, outpatient rehabilitation, in the Cumming, GA area. This 13-week travel assignment starts April 27, 2026, with 40 guaranteed hours per week and a weekly pay range of $2,014 to $2,126. Shift is four 10-hour days. Work setting is a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation department within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized plan of care for adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Deliver OT interventions to improve activities of daily living, upper extremity function, cognition, and overall functional independence
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physical therapy, speech-language pathology) to coordinate care and support discharge planning
- Document evaluation findings, treatment progress, and outcomes in patient records; adjust plans as needed
- Support specialty therapies delivered in the outpatient program, including lymphedema management and other rehabilitative services

Requirements
- Active Georgia OT license or eligible for licensure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Lymphedema certification required
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation department and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Education
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current eligibility for Georgia licensure (or active license)
