Job Description - Travel Physical Therapist Job

Overview
PT (Physical Therapist) position in Puyallup, Washington. This travel assignment starts on April 27, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,390 to $2,559 with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift is 5x8 days, with 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. work hours. Setting is a long-term care facility (nursing home).

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing PT evaluations for residents
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans addressing mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional activity
- Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities as appropriate; monitor response
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes; communicate progress to the care team
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy aides, and other disciplines to support resident goals
- Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and home exercise programs

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in Washington or eligibility for WA licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or equivalent (as standard for the profession)
- Experience in physical therapy; long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to follow facility policies and schedule as assigned (8-hour shifts)
