Responsibilities
- Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Perform non-complex active and passive manual therapies, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities as prescribed.
- Document client status on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and submit clinical paperwork on time each week.
- Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services; participate in interdisciplinary communication.
- Notify the supervising PT, Clinical Manager, or Branch/Clinical Director of equipment issues, supply changes, staff or patient changes, or other department updates.
- Schedule clients and assist with varied office tasks; apply infection control practices and universal precautions.
- Accept clinical assignments aligned with education and competence; promote compliance with third-party payors through education and support as needed.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license to practice in North Carolina (Required)
- Current CPR certification (Required)
- Current driver’s license (Required)
- Reliable transportation and valid insurance (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program (Required)
- Ability to work in a travel assignment and travel locally as needed
