Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is a Radiation Therapist for a travel/contract position in Petoskey, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr shifts per week, M-F

Position Requirements:

• Radiation Therapist experience, 2 years - Required
  


• 1 year travel experience or 1 year work experience with Varian and ARIA – Required
  


• Varian TruBeam, ARIA, Trilogy experience - Preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ARRT (T) Certification - Required


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.
  


• Perform treatment simulations, fabricates all necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate EMR.
  


• Prepares equipment for patient treatments performing quality control and assurance tests, ensuring proper infection control techniques, and adheres to optimal radiation safety and protection practices.
  


• All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives and standards of hospital and nationally accepted standards of practice, provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety and inter-disciplinary cooperation. 
  


• Maintains professional working relationships with medical staff.
  


• Accurately documents patient care and treatments provided
