Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiography, including 2D, Doppler, and contrast-enhanced imaging
- Administer Definity contrast as ordered and follow safety protocols for contrast use
- Prepare patients, position them for optimal imaging, and optimize study quality
- Document findings and generate preliminary reports for review by the interpreting cardiologist
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; ensure proper data management and image storage
- Collaborate with cardiology and other care teams; participate in on-call coverage as assigned
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy policies; support quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
- Board certification or current registration in Cardiac Sonography (ARDMS RDCS or CCI in Cardiac Sonography)
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- 1+ year of full-time Cardiac Sonography experience in a comparable-sized medical center (500+ beds, Level 1-type center) prior to travel; 2+ years highly preferred
- Experience administering Definity contrast
- All licenses and certifications valid at time of application and throughout the initial contract
- Compliance documentation due no later than 10 days prior to start; current Nursys report required
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging setting and to participate in rotating Day/Evening shifts with on-call as needed
