- Peer support: team of ~20 ultrasonographers on staff

Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography studies (primarily transthoracic) with attention to acquisition of high-quality images and accurate Doppler measurements
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, prepare patients and equipment, and verify orders prior to imaging
- Document and communicate study results clearly in the patient record and coordinate with the cardiology team as needed
- Maintain equipment and operate within established quality and infection control standards
- Participate in the on-call schedule as required, including after-hours callbacks with cardiologist approval
- Collaborate with colleagues to support a high-volume echo lab and provide peer support within a ~20-member ultrasonography team

Requirements
- RDCS or RCS designation required
- Active BLS certification
- Ability to work a 40-hour week on a day shift consisting of four 10-hour days (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
- Availability to participate in the required on-call schedule (no less than every 5th week) with approved callbacks
- Ability to work in a clinic setting and manage the workflow of a busy echo service
