Job Description - Travel Radiology X-Ray Tech Job

Overview
X-Ray Tech – Radiology travel assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon, United States. Start date 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,162–$2,255. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 4x10-hour days. Setting: hospital. This is a travel temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiographic imaging exams for patients of all ages, applying appropriate technique to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Position patients accurately, select exposure factors, and operate radiology equipment while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Verify patient information and orders, ensure correct image labeling, and maintain proper image storage and documentation.
- Ensure patient and staff safety through shielding, infection control, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicate with radiologists and other care team members to support exam completion and document imaging results as required.
- Help manage department workflow and contribute to efficient patient throughput during high-volume periods.

Requirements
- Current Oregon radiologic technologist license (State Licenses: Oregon)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 1 year of general Rad Tech experience
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technology program
- ARRT-Radiology certification; certifications do not need to be active at submission but must be willing to obtain
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and in OR-related imaging environments
