Travel Registered Nurse Behavioral Health in Des Moines, IA with $2400 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a travel/contract position in Des Moines, IA. We accept both local and traveling candidates. 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $2080 to $2400 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient units 

Shifts available: Nights

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 1+ ears - Required
  


• INpatient Behavioral Health/Psych Nursing experience: Current 1+ year experience – Required
  


• Pediatric and Adolescent unit/patients experience - Required 
  


• Willing to float internally to other psych units
  


• At least 1 travel contract completed - Required 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State applying or Compact - Required
  


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  


• PALS Certification from AHA - Required 
  


• MOAB Certification or CPI or Similar Deescalation certification - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  

Job Description:

• Provide complete nursing care for patients in Inpatient behavioral health/Psych units 
  


• As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
  


• Float internally across different Psych units: Peds, Adolescents, Adults population
