Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking CVOR RN for a travel /contract position in Saginaw, MI.

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks 

Pay Rate: $2772 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: CVOR 

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hr shifts, Rotating schedule: Week 1 - Mon, Tue, Wed with on-call on those nights) | Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri with on-call on Thurs, Friday, and weekend call Sat/Sun). Six days off between the shifts. Weekend requirements: Only for on-call

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 3 years - Required
  


• 3+ Years of RN CVOR or similar experience - Required
  


• Level 2 Trauma Experience - Required
  


• OPEN HEART Experience - Required
  


• Recent travel experience - Highly Preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of MI - Required
  


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Responsible for assessing the needs of each patient before and during a surgical procedure, and maintains patient safety.
  


• Assesses the needs of the surgical patient and develops a plan of care specific for that patient. Implements and evaluates the plan of care during the procedure, and makes necessary adjustments keeping patient safety a priority.
  


• Documents care of patient during surgical procedures.
  


• Supervises activity in the room. Anticipates and coordinates any schedule changes for the room. Assembles equipment and supplies. Assists anesthesia as necessary. Monitors sterile field
  


• Communicates with patient, family, physician, OR team, supervisor/manager, and ancillary departments.
  


• Completes all charting and documentation in timely manner for hospital policies.
