Pay Rate: $2772 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shifts available: Days
Shift timings: 12 hours Shifts, Days, 7.00 am - 7.30 pm
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hr shifts, Rotating schedule: Week 1 - Mon, Tue, Wed with on-call on those nights) | Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri with on-call on Thurs, Friday, and weekend call Sat/Sun). Six days off between the shifts. Weekend requirements: Only for on-call
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 3 years - Required
- 3+ Years of RN CVOR or similar experience - Required
- Level 2 Trauma Experience - Required
- OPEN HEART Experience - Required
- Recent travel experience - Highly Preferred
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of MI - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Responsible for assessing the needs of each patient before and during a surgical procedure, and maintains patient safety.
- Assesses the needs of the surgical patient and develops a plan of care specific for that patient. Implements and evaluates the plan of care during the procedure, and makes necessary adjustments keeping patient safety a priority.
- Documents care of patient during surgical procedures.
- Supervises activity in the room. Anticipates and coordinates any schedule changes for the room. Assembles equipment and supplies. Assists anesthesia as necessary. Monitors sterile field
- Communicates with patient, family, physician, OR team, supervisor/manager, and ancillary departments.
- Completes all charting and documentation in timely manner for hospital policies.
