Job Description - Travel Registered Nurse Dialysis Job

Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients navigating chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal failure. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to influence lives, restore hope, and refine your clinical expertise in a specialty where every session matters. Based in the picturesque Geneva area of New York, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that treats every patient with dignity, education, and a commitment to safe, effective therapy. If you crave professional growth and the freedom to broaden your horizons, this opportunity also opens doors to assignments across the United States, enabling you to experience diverse patient populations, unit cultures, and clinical challenges that sharpen your judgment and leadership. The start date is March 16, 2026, and the contract runs in weeks with the potential to extend, supported by a family of travel professionals ready to help you succeed on day one.

Geneva, NY, sits at the heart of the Finger Lakes region, where sparkling lakes, rolling hills, and vibrant fall colors create a backdrop that’s both inspiring and restorative after demanding shifts. The area offers a blend of scenic beauty, cultural richness, and a welcoming community—perfect for balancing the rigor of dialysis care with moments of downtime in parks, on nearby hiking trails, or along lakefront promenades. When you’re ready to explore beyond Geneva, you’ll have the chance to rotate through other dialysis units across the U.S., expanding your exposure to different patient needs and facility practices while enjoying the opportunity to immerse yourself in new neighborhoods, cuisines, and local traditions. This is an ideal setting for clinicians who value both professional excellence and a high quality of life outside the hospital walls.

In this role, you’ll own a comprehensive set of responsibilities focused on delivering exceptional dialysis care. Your daily duties will include pre-dialysis assessments, cannulation as appropriate, vascular access maintenance, machine setup and calibration, and meticulous monitoring of dialysis parameters such as solute clearance, fluid balance, and hemodynamic stability. You’ll collaborate with nephrologists, fellow nurses, technicians, dietitians, social workers, and care coordinators to develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and adjust therapies according to evolving conditions. Patient and family education will be a cornerstone, empowering individuals to manage their health between sessions and recognize warning signs that require attention. Documentation and adherence to safety protocols will be meticulous, with a strong emphasis on infection control, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes opportunities for professional advancement within the dialysis specialty, whether through expanded practice scope, participation in performance improvement projects, or pursuing specialty certifications. Our benefits package is designed to reflect the value you bring to the team and the patients we serve.

We offer a competitive compensation package designed to attract talented clinicians who are ready to contribute from day one. In addition to a weekly pay range of $1,542–$1,595, you may be eligible for a signing bonus, which recognizes your expertise and the added value you bring to our programs. Housing assistance is available to help you settle into your new location quickly and comfortably, minimizing relocation stress so you can focus on patient care. There is also clear potential for contract extensions, allowing you to deepen your relationships with patients and colleagues while continuing to grow your skills in a supportive environment. Comfort and continuity of care are supported by robust travel logistics and a dedicated 24/7 support team that remains available throughout your assignment. Whether you’re navigating shift changes, addressing patient needs, or seeking guidance on best practices, you’ll have reliable, round-the-clock help to keep you focused and confident as you travel or work in different units.

Company values center on empowering nurses to advance their careers while fostering a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive workplace. We believe in recognizing talent, encouraging professional development, and providing the tools and mentorship needed to reach leadership milestones within the dialysis field. You’ll join a culture that champions integrity, patient-centered care, and teamwork, with pathways to expand your clinical impact and leadership capabilities. Our commitment to your well-being means offering resources that support balance, resilience, and ongoing education, so you can deliver exceptional care without compromising your own growth and satisfaction.

If you’re ready to elevate your dialysis nursing career in a location that blends scenic living with meaningful clinical impact, we invite you to apply. This is your chance to join a company that values your expertise, supports your development, and stands beside you—from first day through continued advancement. Start date is March 16, 2026, with week-based assignments and competitive weekly pay. For ambitious nurses who want to experience diverse settings while delivering high-quality nephrology care, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Note: hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
