Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Triage patients, monitor for changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate treatment plans.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; delegate tasks as appropriate and provide clinical guidance.
- Document care, patient status, and communications clearly and accurately; uphold patient safety, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in complex clinical scenarios.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Oregon (or eligibility for Oregon practice) to support ER responsibilities.
- Emergency department experience preferred; travel nursing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and adapt to a night-shift schedule.
- Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment starting 05/25/2026.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
- Capacity to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER environment and to adapt to variance in patient volume.
