Travel Registered Nurse IR Job

Overview
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Days shift in Chico, California. Start date: 03/23/2026. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week and a pay range of $2,840–$3,124 per week. Shift is 4x10-hour days. The position works in an inpatient interventional radiology setting and may float to other radiology nursing areas as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care within the inpatient interventional radiology service, including peri-procedural support and recovery.
- Monitor patients during procedures and throughout post-procedure recovery, including sedation and airway status as indicated.
- Prepare, assist with, and support interventional radiology procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
- Document care and progress in EPIC EMR, including vital signs, medications, procedures performed, and recovery status; ensure accurate handoffs to the care team.
- Collaborate with radiology physicians and support staff; participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- May float to Med/Surg or Critical Care units as needed to support staffing requirements.

Requirements
- Current California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work in an inpatient radiology environment and to float to Med/Surg and Critical Care areas as needed
- Willingness to work a 4x10-hour day schedule and start as a travel nurse on a 13-week assignment
