In this role, you’ll own key responsibilities that build your leadership within the specialty. Core duties include overseeing labor progress, monitoring fetal well‑being through electronic tracing, and administering analgesia and uterotonic therapies as indicated. You’ll assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean births, ensure meticulous postpartum care, and provide newborn stabilization and parent education. You’ll collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatology, lactation consultants, and anesthesia teams to optimize outcomes and to mentor new staff and travel colleagues. Documentation accuracy, infection prevention, and evidence‑based practice will anchor every shift.
