Registered Nurse - NICU in Utica, NY. This is a travel, temporary assignment in a NICU unit starting on 04/20/2026 for 8 weeks. Expect a weekly pay range of $2,274 to $2,450 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 12-hour nights on a 2x3 schedule. The assignment involves working in a NICU setting with Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU, including monitoring status, vital signs, respiratory support, IV access, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary NICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans; document care in Epic EMR.
- Administer orders, manage ventilation and equipment as needed, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition with professional judgment.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; adhere to unit protocols and RN-patient ratios (1:1 to 3:1 depending on acuity).
- Support families through education and communication, and assist with transitions of care as appropriate.
- May float to MB (mother-baby), pediatrics, or other units if needed, within scope and unit policy.

Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of NICU experience; level II/III NICU experience preferred
- BLS and NRP certifications required at time of submission
- PALS and STABLE certifications required prior to start; if not current, willingness to obtain before start
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Ability to work in a high-acuity NICU setting and to float to related units as needed
- Travel assignment with adherence to the 75-mile radius policy and local rate considerations
