Registered Nurse - PACU in Albany, Oregon. This travel assignment begins July 27, 2026 and runs for a 13-week engagement in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Monitor PACU patients recovering from anesthesia, including airway assessment, breathing, circulation, and vital signs.
- Assess and manage pain and sedation levels; administer medications per orders and monitor for adverse effects.
- Maintain airway support and intervene for potential complications, escalating to anesthesia as needed.
- Document patient status, interventions, and progress in the medical record; ensure accurate handoff communications.
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to determine disposition and prepare patients for discharge home or admission as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized PACU environment, including equipment readiness and adherence to infection control practices.

Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- ACLS and PALS required
- Ability to work in a PACU/ambulatory surgery environment within a hospital setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to function in a rotating 4x10-hour schedule (0800–1830)
