Role specifics and benefits: In this PCU assignment, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse cohort of intermediate-acuity patients transitioning from ICU to step-down or post-surgical recovery, as well as those with complex comorbidities requiring meticulous monitoring and timely interventions. Your responsibilities will include accurate documentation, continuous telemetry interpretation, timely administration of therapies, wound and infection prevention, patient and family education, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team to recognize early deterioration and escalate care when needed.
