Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients undergoing radiology, interventional radiology, angiography, or related procedures, within the imaging suite and associated areas.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; administer medications as ordered; manage IV access and contrast administration per protocol.
- Assist radiology and cardiology teams with procedures, equipment setup, patient positioning, and procedural safety; maintain sterile technique and infection control standards.
- Perform routine assessment, documentation in the electronic health record, and escalation of clinical changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure patient and staff radiation safety, adhere to contrast media policies, and participate in rapid response or code events as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to coordinate timely care and ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license (unencumbered) required
- Minimum 2+ years of full-time RN ICU experience in a large medical center (500+ beds) required
- Minimum 2+ years of full-time RN experience in Interventional Radiology (IR), Angiography (Angio), or Cardiac Cath Lab prior to travel assignments required
- Current BLS/HCP and ACLS required
- BSN preferred; specialty certifications (CRN, CCRN, CV-BC) highly desired
- NIHSS and CPI preferred; EKG exam with 80% or greater during orientation
- All licenses/certifications must be valid at time of application submission and throughout the initial contract
- Compliance tasks must be completed no later than 10 days before contract start; current Nursys report required for submission
