Shift timings: 8 Hours; Nights, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr, Mon-Fri, Saturday scheduling possible 8a-12p
Position Requirements:
- Current RN Experience: 2 years - Required
- Triage / Telephone experience (80% time spent on phone talking with patients)
- All age group experience needed --- Pediatric experience required
- Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with patients re; medication, medical history, diagnosis
- Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
- Clinic or Medical Office experience – Required
- Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
- COVID Vaccinations or exemptions - Required
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required
- BSN – Preferred
- RN License for State of New Hampshire or Compact - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
The Pediatrics Office Nurse (RN) prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned patients carrying out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. The Office Nurse utilizes the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. The Office Nurse teaches and directs other clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) in the performance of acts delegated to them for the implementation of the therapeutic plan of care.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
