Job Description - Travel Respiratory Therapist Job

Answer the call to empower breath and resilience as a Respiratory Therapist in Broadview Heights, Ohio. In this specialty-focused assignment, you’ll partner with physicians, nurses, and case managers to deliver precise, compassionate respiratory care that helps patients regain independence and recovery with dignity. You’ll manage ventilator support, airway clearance, ABG interpretation, and pulmonary rehabilitation across units, guiding each patient through essential milestones. If clinical excellence, collaborative teamwork, and the satisfaction of seeing a patient take a clear next breath align with your purpose, this opportunity is for you. And when your shift ends, Ohio offers beauty and balance: quiet mornings in the Cuyahoga Valley, lake sunsets along Lake Erie, and a dynamic cultural scene in nearby Cleveland, Akron, and historic towns that invite exploration on days off.

Location benefits: Broadview Heights places you in a thriving healthcare corridor with access to top hospitals, academic centers, and a supportive professional network. Short commutes mean more time for learning, family, and rest, while the region’s parks, festivals, and sports events enrich your downtime. For travelers, there’s the appeal of working in multiple locations across the U.S., building a nationwide professional footprint and gaining exposure to diverse patient populations, protocols, and equipment configurations. The schedule provides guaranteed hours and regularity to support your development plan, licensure goals, and ongoing education.

Role specifics and benefits: This weeks-long assignment begins February 16, 2026. You will deliver advanced respiratory care to patients with varied diagnoses, including mechanical ventilation management, bronchodilator therapies, airway clearance techniques, noninvasive ventilation, weaning protocols, and ICU-to-floor transitions in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include frequent respiratory assessments, ventilator adjustments per orders, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and optimization of oxygen delivery, all while adhering to safety standards. Documentation, rounding participation, patient and family education, and equipment maintenance are integral. You’ll have opportunities to lead projects, mentor junior therapists, and pursue additional certifications through our development programs. Compensation is competitive, with weekly pay between $1,632 and $1,706 and guaranteed 36 hours per week. A sign-on or performance bonus is available, and housing assistance is provided to ease your transition. Extension opportunities exist to prolong your assignment if you and the facility wish to continue. In addition, you’ll receive 24/7 support while traveling with the company, ensuring you’re never alone on the road or in a new clinical setting. You’ll benefit from modern resources, evidence-based protocols, and a culture that values your voice in shaping patient care.

Company values: We empower respiratory therapists to grow, lead, and influence patient outcomes. Expect a supportive, inclusive environment where your expertise is recognized, your goals are supported, and your career path is clearly mapped. From onboarding to ongoing education, we provide mentors, tools, and networks to accelerate advancement, reward initiative, and encourage work-life integration. Our commitment is to your professional development and wellbeing as you deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Ready to join a company that values your contribution? Apply today to begin a meaningful journey in Broadview Heights, Ohio, with potential expansion to diverse U.S. sites and a robust career in respiratory therapy. Start date February 16, 2026, for a weeks-long assignment with guaranteed hours and strong support.

Please note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
