Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a travel/contract position in Brattleboro, VT. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $2640 to $3120 Weekly Gross Pay for a 48-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Pay Rate: Range $1980 to $2340 Weekly Gross Pay for a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit:
Behavioral health units (Pediatric Inpatient)
Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings:
12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and some on-call (48 hours per week available)
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 5 years - Required
- Rcent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioral health nursing, recent experience within the last 3 months – Required
- Must have experience working with all patient ages - Required
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed (Adults, Adolescent, Children/Peds)
- Must be willing to take Charge RN shift
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of VT or Compact - Required (Facility will pend VT license, can apply upon offer)
- CPI Certification or similar – Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral health unit/s
- Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
- Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
- Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
- Must be willing to charge RN shift if needed
- Must float to all units as needed (All patient ages)
