Travel RN Behavioral Health (Inpatient Float) in Brattleboro, VT with $3120 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a travel/contract position in Brattleboro, VT. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. 

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel RN Behavioral Health - Inpatient Float 

Location: Brattleboro, Vermont

Start Date: ASAP (Must be able to start on 6/9/25)

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $2640 to $3120 Weekly Gross Pay for a 48-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and some on-call (48 hours per week available)

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 5 years - Required
  


• Rcent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioral health nursing, recent experience within the last 3 months – Required
  


• Must have experience working with all patient ages  - Required 
  


• Must be willing to float to other units as needed (Adults, Adolescent, Children/Peds)
  


• Must be willing to take Charge RN shift
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of VT or Compact  - Required (Facility will pend VT license, can apply upon offer)
  


• CPI Certification or similar – Preferred
  


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral health unit/s 
  


• Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. 
  


• Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. 
  


• Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
  


• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
  


• Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
  


• Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
  


• Must be willing to charge RN shift if needed
  


• Must float to all units as needed (All patient ages)
