Travel RN Med Surg Float in Cedar Rapids, IA with $2340 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Med Surg RN for travel/contract position in Cedar Rapids, IA. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates.  

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Float 

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting both local and travel Candidates 

Pay Rate: Range $2052 to $2340 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: MS, PCU, Float 

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend/holiday rotation 

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
  


• Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2 years – Required
  


• Experience with floating to MS, Step down units  - Required 
  


• Critical Care experience - Preferred
  


• Must be willing to float to different units while on assignment - Required 
  


• Prior Travel Nursing experience – Highly preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of IA or Compact - Required
  


• BLS Certifications from AHA - Required

Job Description:

• Provide complete nursing care for patients in the assigned MS units and float to Step Down or similar units 
  


• As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process
  


• Complete charting and patient documenation promptly
