Travel RN Med Surg / Telemetry in Fort Dodge, IA with $2520 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking MS Tele Registered Nurse for travel / contract positions in Fort Dodge, IA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. Travelers must reside 60+ outside of the facility location 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $2160 to $2520 weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Med Surg, Tele, PCU, SDU

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
  


• Med Surg Tele PCU Step down Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2 years – Required
  


• Experience with Tele strips including cardiac - Required
  


• Epic experience – Preferred
  


• Prior Travel Nursing experience – Highly preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of IA or Compact - Required
  


• BLS and ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required
  

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in the assigned units (Unit is a mix of MS, Tele, PCU, and Step Down)
  


• Provides safe, quality care for patients/residents according to individualized care plan that supports patient/resident outcomes. 
  


• Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
  


• Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
  


• Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
  


• Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
  


• Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
