Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking SDU Registered Nurses for multiple travel/contract positions in Petoskey, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. 

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel RN SDU (Step Down Unit)

Location: Petoskey, Michigan

Specialty: SDU, Cardiac 

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit: SDU Units

Shifts available: Nights, Days

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 1-2 years - Required
  


• SDU Nursing experience: Recent/Current 1+ year – Required
  


• Cardiac Proficiency - Required 
  


• EKG Comfortability - Required
  


• Prior travel experience (1 completed assignment/contract) – Required 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of MI - Required
  


• BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Performs all aspects RN duties in the assigned SDU units.
  


• Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
  


• Provides care for cardiac patients in the SDU/CVU units.
  


• All other duties within scope of practice and skillset as assigned.
