Travel RN Stepdown in Lawton, OK with $2340 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Stepdown RNs for multiple travel/contract positions in Lawton, OK. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse \- Stepdown

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Employment Type: Full\-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2340 weekly Gross Pay based on a 36\-hour work week (Includes Non\-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: SDU, CVCU 

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, weekends as needed (EOW), No call. 

• Registered Nurse: 1 year \- Required
  


• Stepdown RN experience: Recent/Current, 6+ months – Required 
  


• Float to Med/Surg or ER to take CVCU/Med Surg holds \- Required
  


• Travel experience \- Highly preferred 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of OK or Compact \- Required
  


• AHA BLS Certifications  \- Required
  


• NIHSS \- Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  

Job Description:

• Provides all aspects of professional and comprehensive nursing care in assigned units (Stepdown). 
  


• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications including administering antiarrhythmic IV medications
  


• Comfortable providing care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, CP rule out, CHF, Noninvasive Ventilation, Cardiothoracic surgery after ICU, and those with peripheral vascular compromise. 
  


• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
  


• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
