Job Description - Travel Speech Language Pathologist Job


Overview
Speech Language Pathologist travel assignment in Great Barrington, Massachusetts begins April 6, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,438 - $2,561 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week. Shift: 5 days per week, 8.5-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30. Setting: skilled nursing facility. This urgent need includes a $2,000 quickstart bonus.

Responsibilities
- Assess and treat adults with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluation results
- Administer standardized assessments, document findings, and track progress over time
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and caregivers; provide education and resources as appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and on a 08:00–16:30 schedule
- Experience with adult neurogenic communication and dysphagia is preferred
- Autism for CCC-SLP or eligibility for ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
