Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to residents, using evidence-based techniques
- Document resident progress accurately in medical records and care plans
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to integrate therapy within overall resident care
- Participate in care conferences and discharge planning as appropriate
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and payer guidelines for treatment services

Requirements
- Eligible to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the United States
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and adapt to the needs of aging populations
- Strong communication skills and ability to document clearly for care teams
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and maintain reliability
- Professionalism and ability to work independently within a team
