Job Description:

GSK Solutions is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to support the State of New Jersey in the development of enterprise-level web applications. This role requires expertise in user-centered design, UX research, and usability testing, as well as strong design skills in prototyping, accessibility, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This position plays a key role in leading discovery and design activities across multiple teams, while ensuring design consistency, user accessibility, and timely project deliverables.

Specialty Areas:

• Enterprise Application UX: Experience creating large-scale, user-friendly business applications
  

• User Research & Testing: Skilled in interviews, journey mapping, usability testing
  

• Interaction & Visual Design: Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles, wireframes, prototypes
  

• Accessibility: Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 standards to ensure inclusivity
  

• Design Tools: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools, and HTML/CSS
  

• Agile Collaboration: Work within agile environments, contributing to cross-functional teams
  

Responsibilities:

• Lead user research, workflows, wireframing, and usability testing for internal/external applications
  

• Balance user needs with business goals, identifying simplification opportunities
  

• Use existing design systems and UI styles to maintain consistency
  

• Create clickable prototypes and present design concepts to stakeholders
  

• Ensure designs are developed with accessibility and usability in mind
  

• Collaborate across multiple application teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
  

• Perform design QA to validate UI/UX during development

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in UI/UX Design
  

• Strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise-level design projects
  

• Excellent storytelling, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  

• Proficiency with design/prototyping tools (Adobe Suite, HTML/CSS, etc.)
  

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in a related field (UX, HCI, Psychology, etc.)
  

• Familiarity with Agile and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)

• Experience working with the PEGA suite
