This is a full-time, on-site position that supports our NFIP Direct contract. Starting wage: $40,000-$57,000, DOE and overtime eligible. How will you contribute? You will significantly contribute by managing flood insurance policies, reviewing documentation and insurance premiums, and ensuring that proper underwriting procedures comply with federal rules and regulations.

While underwriting is inherently technical, strong customer service remains a key component. Underwriters frequently interact with clients to answer questions, clarify policy terms, and resolve concerns, making a customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach essential to success.

Preferred Skills to Stand Out:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Previous experience in flood insurance underwriting or related experience is preferred.

• Associate in the National Flood Insurance certification preferred.

• Knowledge and Training specific to underwriting processes, including policy cancellations, endorsements, and renewals.
