Pay Rate: $2440 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40\-hour work week (Includes Non\-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8\-hr shifts per week, M\-F, One weekend rotation per month
Position Requirements:
- Occupational Therapist experience: 1+ years \- Required
- Primarily Outpatient experience \- Required
- Some Acute Care experience: Required
- Pediatrics experience \- Required
- Travel contracts experience â Highly preferred
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- OT License for State of MI \- Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA \- Required
Job Description:
- This position delegates responsibility to the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Aides.
- Activities of this position are patient\-focused and utilize assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with occupational therapy standards, physician orders, and governing policies and procedures.
- Evaluates the patientâs function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular status, developmental, social, and cognitive functions.
- Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patientâs tolerance to carry\-out the treatment plan as prescribed.
- Submits a written treatment regime to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician. Updates plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient status. Co\-signs verbal orders received by occupational therapist assistant as necessary.
- Devises a schedule of treatment, which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff.
- Educates patient, family, and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition, patient alternatives, prognosis, and rationale for treatment through forms of rest, exercise, modalities, and other indicated interventions.
- Provides supervision for Occupational Therapist Assistants per affiliate and regulatory standards.
