PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions servicing the Life Sciences sector, is looking for a Utilities Engineer to support the design, construction, commissioning, and optimization of critical utility systems in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. This role ensures reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of plant utilities supporting production processes.
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Design and develop utility infrastructure systems (chilled water, wastewater treatment, steam, and clean utilities).
Conduct feasibility studies and develop cost estimates.
Support equipment selection and installation strategies for critical utilities.
Oversee construction and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and applicable codes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within utility systems.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in utility engineering with focus on system design and project management.
Strong knowledge of utility systems, codes, and regulatory requirements.
