Job Description - Utilities Project Manager

For Utilities Project Management services.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:

The Technical Part:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least five (5) years of experience in Project Management within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
Bilingual: English and Spanish (verbal/written).
Experience in:
- Project Management life cycle: Project Planning & Scheduling, Budget & Cost Management, Team Leadership & Coordination, Quality Control & Safety Compliance, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management and Project Close-Out.
- Managing construction projects from beginning to end.
- Projects primarily focus on utilities and infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, regulations, and industry best practices.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors necessary for project execution.
Prepare cost estimates, monitor project budgets, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuously update the project cash flow and communicate any potential risks as needed.
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other financial documentation.
Implement cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions to enhance project profitability.
Lead and manage on-site project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and site supervisors.
Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
Conduct regular team meetings and site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
Enforce safety protocols on-site to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular quality inspections and address any quality control issues that arise during the project.
Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve any concerns or issues.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Consistently update the project tracker to accurately communicate all project details.
Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate or resolve them.
Proactively address project delays, disputes, or conflicts to ensure the project stays on track.
Ensure all necessary inspections, permits, and documentation are completed at project close-out.
Conduct a final review of the project with the client, ensuring satisfaction and completion of all deliverables.
Coordinate the handover of the project to the client or facility management team.
